All this new internet snooping stuff and private browsers? , by rebate on May 26, 2018 11:36:42 GMT 1, All of all these internet changes and our handing over of anything we do online, is jacking me off! I wonder this, we keep giving our consent (or not!) for most of these apps free emails etc consent to watch what we do and log it all.
Aol is the one that got me, they want me to consent to them logging all my activity online weather it be through AOL or not, and it doesnt matter if im logged into AOL or not (by which i mean their free email!).
Not being up for this im wondering, if you use a private browsing window (you get them with mac and windows) it says you can browse without logging stuff. so does this mean you can allow them all to have access but that they will never be able to see what your doing outside of their site?

All this new internet snooping stuff and private browsers? , by rebate on Jun 7, 2018 11:00:52 GMT 1, Ive just been using the private browser through safari. And not bothered accepting the terms for AOL. Who apparently also want my consent to read my emails!
Its a pain to have to log into everything each time, but thats a small price for (hopefully) less being spied on all the time!
