Scored an H5 though and don't mind if it's delayed 1 bit, as long as it turns up in reasonable time. Have you got to get the H4 by a particular deadline for some reason? No deadline whatsoever just simple business ethics. I'm sure you'd rather have your H5 on time as promised rather than later? But should it be later shouldn't there be professional courtesy for some kind of letter/email to the clients in advance to notify them of such delay ? Notifying us of a delay after the due date is akin to closing the stable door once the horse has bolted. My complaint has always been the principle of the matter, not the actual time and certainly not with the Serpentine nor with the Tate as I anticipate that'll overrun considerably ......
I'm more annoyed when Amazon deliver the baby's nappies late, but I get your point.

To be fair people aren't buying a packet of crisps here. They said delivery would be September. Its no problem if it is going to be late but a courtesy email would be appreciated. Its only because I know this is from Serpentine that I'm not getting too concerned. If I bought this from a small gallery I would be very concerned that the time has past and I've not heard anything or had a reply to me email. |

Thought h4 was “released” by serpentine gallery (but I might be wrong since I wasn’t around).

You can easily have it shipped in the crate, although the black wrap is simply a thin bit of plastic wrapped around the crate - so it does not get marks on it (although potentially it already has marks from when it was stored pre delivery).

Where did you see the Italy cost? It isn’t listed in the spreadsheet. Also everyone in the EU needs to add on 20% for VAT.

E.g. to France for black wrap economy if is £46.12, with insurance it is another £45 totalling £91.12. Add 20% it is £109.94. They list the final price to be £126.12.
