Easy for popular prints to sell out if sold by a buy button on a website.
But here they are being offered to people who express a desire to buy. They can’t offer more than they have. Inevitably some who said they were interested will then have a change of heart. So the remaining ones have to be offered again.

I imagine in this situation it will take a while to luckily line up buyers with remaining stock.

I agree with you, this does seem a hugely labour intensive way of selling the prints.
I can only imagine that they think that they are doing their best to get the prints in the hands of collectors and not speculators.

Very possible that I’ve lost track but there was the Phillips which was H4-1, and then Forum Auctions and Christies of H4-3
