Bomb Middle England - pow didn't sell them - they were sold pre pow.
I bought one a while back - which came with prov.
The prov was a reciept from sleazenation - pretty little thing
with a pretty little...doh price.

i'm sure there's a story to come out of pow on all the prints - but
generally a receipt from green leaf bookshop from whence last
year many a print was sold on ebay - some not so real as others....
would have to come with conf from dora that such a print # was sold
through that shop - of that they do have records.

but it's worth noting - their records are not totally bulletproof
which is why on occasion they'll ask you to send it in.. for conf - which
isn't easy if you're checking out prov on a print - on ebay...

be careful - not that the bay is awash with banksy flotsam
at the mo anyway...

Pow are able to authenticate older stuff. They used to record using pen and paper (plus all records were kept from PYMCA), but obviously lashed it all onto a database at some point. Send them an email with your name and address and they will confirm. No worries.

Just received this Official POW statement -

i don't think the objects on the corners helped the sale however.

tubing something esp one of those 3 for such a period can't
be easy to rectify.

do-able - however a hassle.

I've had a pretty busy couple of months for new art, and have been very lucky to pick up some lovely originals, including a Faile, Neate, Francis and Nick Walker.

The upshot of this is not only have I run out of wallspace, it's also completely change the tone of my collection, to the point where my Banksys look very out of place.

As such, and in the continued vein of wanting to trade up to originals, I'm considering offering my Bomb Middle England and Turf War for trade.

Both items will come with pest control COA, both are framed, and both in mint condition. The only caveat is that the BME has a certain amount of tape residue around the edges of the rear of the print. However this has not damaged the paper in any way and is completely invisible to the front of the print.

Both are unsigned, and both are from before POW blindstamping (in fact the BME was before POW, full stop. This was purchased from Tim @ artomatic, who got them direct from Steve Laz back in the day!)

Faile - needs to be something interesting, low-run, lot's of finishing etc.

Banksy Grin Reaper (the exception to the rule above)

Just seen there is a signed one in the Lyon and Turnbull contemporary auction this week, est 15-20k!

As I though, only 50 signed of which some of those were A/P's.
