Ahh, "the pen is mightier than the sword" is fairy tale crap! I say send some of your buddies from hitman.us after the bugger!! ;D
Retro: Let us know eBay's response and how it goes - hope everything works out for you in the end. Did he send you nasty emails and messages too? I wonder what would have happened if you'd just sent the money to him via PayPal immediately after the auction ended. It would have become a full-fledged crime, and he'd be in deeeeeep sh|t if he doesn't send you the print. Unfortunately, £970's way too much money for that kind of risk

Banksy Bomb Middle England Print • 2003 , by RetroCanvas on Nov 26, 2006 0:45:32 GMT 1, No the seller wasn't mean or anything, but the story he gave didn't really mean anything to me. I think that the sale didn't go as high as he wanted. Paypal was not an option but wasn't going to use it anyway.
I'll let you know what comes of it for sure.

Banksy Bomb Middle England Print • 2003 , by dumpsuk on Jul 24, 2007 19:11:06 GMT 1, This is just an update to the details at the beginning of this thread. I have this print unsigned and orignal receipt dated December 2002, it was definately on sale at that time, so the release date above (2003) needs to be corrected. Regards, Dean.

Banksy Bomb Middle England Print • 2003 , by headphonesex on Nov 26, 2007 1:50:49 GMT 1, Tom Tom were an authorised reseller for POW prints.... they weren't involved at all with printing or production.
All Banksy prints have been released either through POW or Lazinc. BME is no exception, and was originally released by POW - except at the time they were called PYMCA.
Although the prints originated from POW, it's possible they could have been originally sold from a number of places - including Tom Tom, Art Republic, Green Leaf Bookshop, Tate Modern, Selfridges & Eat my Handbag Bitch.

Banksy Bomb Middle England Print • 2003 , by jackson.earth on Apr 30, 2008 21:50:30 GMT 1, Hi,
I have a Banksy 'Bomb Middle England' 2003 print which I bought about 6 years ago at Santas Ghetto.
It's numbered and has written email prov from POW.
I know it's a rare print, but I've no real idea of its value.
Just wondering if anyone knows what the market price would be?
Thanks for your help!

£2-3500 is about right.

What?
Unless you're the buyer or the seller how would you know that?
And what about the under-bidder? Did they think it was signed too?
There would have been a nice pic of it in the catalogue and it would have been in the room while the auction was going on. I find it very hard to believe that 2 or more people both failed to spot it wasn't signed.
