I am a huuuge fan of Banksy, infact I did my advanced higher art dissertation on him and his work. I am just wondering how you know when the prints are released? Trolleys? The colour version is great, but the sheer number of the buggers makes me VERY optimistic that after eBay has driven signed versions up to the 2-3 grand mark, his earlier work will be SO much more valuable.
So, if you've got anything 2 years or older, hold it.
My Barcode and Jack 'n Jill are looking like very, very healthy investments indeed.

That being said - I also own a signed Barcode - and brace yourself... I wouldn't even consider selling it for under $40K USD.
Too many people on this board think in terms of 6months to a year. That is nothing in the art world!!! If you think in terms of 10+ years we can then have an intellectual discussion about the contemporary art market and the concept of 'value' which so many on here are overly & unfortunately concerned about.
If in 10+ years my print is worth exactly what I paid for it - I'm still happy. If it's worth an insane amount of money I'm slightly more happy bc it could technically go to buying more art whose value I don't care about and just want on my walls.

LOL Stuey! I'm really not joking - I'd turn you down even if you flashed the cash in front of me. I think in 10-15 years time desirable signed Banksy prints will be fetching nice sums at Sotheby's & Christies - not Bloomsbury
