Advice - Creased Print, by Deleted on Aug 1, 2018 15:59:12 GMT 1, Wondering if anyone might have any advice on how to remove creases from a print, or at least reduce them, please? Bought the Sweet Toof print below and love it, but it got a bit crushed in the post and a couple of the corners are mangled. It's not the end of the world, as it hasn't damaged the main image, but I don't want to return as it's now sold out, plus it's number one in a small edition.
Are there any safe ways to smooth it out a bit? Don't want to make it worse by accident. Thanks. (apologies if I've put this thread in the wrong place)

Advice - Creased Print, by gd79 on Aug 1, 2018 16:15:02 GMT 1, Have you been in contact with them? I have had prints replaced in the past, even if signed and numbered. A few are usually held back for this. Typically you need to send a pic of your print all torn up

Advice - Creased Print, by gmh1910 on Aug 1, 2018 18:54:53 GMT 1, On a smooth flat surface (ironing board / dining table) place face down (image) on non bleached kitchen towel mist the creased areas cover with more paper towel. Iron on a LOW temp remove towels place between acid free foam core - place weighting on top Leave for a week or so to allow the fibers to reconnect and dry repeat if required. TAKE YOUR TIME
It looks like these are "hard creases" you might not be able to get back to "perfect" but 97% without going to a restorer

I was wary of using an iron or any water on it as it's coloured paper and didn't want to risk it bleeding, but maybe I'll try on very lowest setting.
