Quite like the idea of a silver frame with a white mount. Woulfnt mind matching it with my morons frame though. That was plain black, dont feel this would suit the colour here though

that said i would love to see all the others as they get done, i won't be able to frame it until next year sadly but i may change my mind and steal someone else's ideas if there's looks the bollox. ;D

Totally agree, had stuff of mine framed and then seen someone elses on here that I liked much more!! Gutting sometimes!

i would never just give my work to a framer and leave them to choose, as stupid as i know that is i just can't bear the thought of me not liking it and falling out with them. i know part of their service is to offer their expertise but as most of you will already know i think i know everything already so every one else must be wrong  .
i know, i thought i would have grown out of it by now but not thus far. maybe next year?
i think the b/w trolleys will be fairly straightforward to frame, it's either black or white. or both. ;D
it will be interesting to see how far people will take their colour ones though, i'm keeping it dead simple because there is enough colour in the image itself. that's all i'm saying

So far I have come up with (and it may change). A 5" swept frame sprayed with mat black and waxed (see exact gold example below). I will then have it float mounted on white conservation board using Filmoplast P-90 archival tape and finished off with museum glass.
Snakes - Thats all I have been thinking of since I got my coloured Trolley. This is definitely the fun part. So far I have come up with (and it may change). look, i'm already deviating
may as well spit it out: i was going to go for a white box frame, with the print float mounted to show off the deckled edges. coupled with a cream/antique mountboard, a bit like the background colour on the LA version, should set it off just right.
harveyn is making me think a bold choice is also a good one , i'll probably still just play it safe though.

These frames are ok, but not brilliant, you either end up putting 2 big screws in the wall to hold it up, or you see the hanging wire through the glass. I bought one and just couldn't find a print I was happy with in it, I've just put my Banksy soup can poster in it!
You cant put in a mount as they are desined to hold the 2 sheets or glass with a print in the middle, theres no more room.

Mantis is staying in the frame on the wall, Trolleys is larger anyhow (I think).

Didn't know what to do at work when the fun of trying to get one ended so spent time designing this and playing with colours. Was initially gonna go with the 2 blue mount idea like I'd seen on a J&J but stumbled upon this colour combination and thought it looked wicked. Just got to get it made up now. ;D

I always like to get a bit more colour into my B&W prints and the red seemed to work perfectly. Like you said it picks out the handles nicely.
