Harland Miller -Heroin is what your right arm is for, by Dojo the Dog on Aug 19, 2018 12:50:32 GMT 1, Think this is probably the cheapest HM you can buy theses days and Iโve been tampted by this piece in the past. Just not wall friendly enough for my place. An insight into his darker side. Good luck.

Harland Miller -Heroin is what your right arm is for, by Adam The Collector on Aug 19, 2018 18:23:47 GMT 1, This was my second HM purchase and yes, not too friendly, had to hang this in the bedroom so the family doesn't have to look at it when they come to visit. Nonetheless I am sure will appreciate in value and make a good buy. Looks good framed up.

I would hide my family before my art It is an especially sensitive subject matter because my oldest sister was a heroin addict and died as a result almost 2 years now. So I do choose to keep it away mostly from my mother. Plus, I have more than enough other works to hang throughout the rest of the house!

I understand where your coming from, please accept my apology it was just an off the cuff remark. You are right it would not go down too well with your family. I have a nice original hanging over our fireplace which i purchased for my wife 2 years ago and we both love it. My mother in law is visiting at the moment and i know its not her cup of tea, but its staying where it is.
The wife saw it on the artists website and loved it. Its by Irish artist Gerry Davis, title Burrow. He had just won the National Gallery's Hennessy portrait Prize and now has one of his works hanging in the National Gallery of Ireland. I rang him up and after a bit of haggling i purchased it for the wife for Christmas. When i went down to meet him i ended up buying 3 of his works . Here is the one i'm talking about, sorry for the bad colour in the photos, it looks much better.
