I had a quick look.....If you go the front page on here under the main top section You have a for sale section
I can't see a wanted section there, so i think you know what? i'll click on the for sale section and see what's there
At the top of the for sale section is a wanted thread. try 'wanting something on it' it just gets buried never to be seen again, so i think, tried that and its s**t, but i still want to spend my money and really want a bit of art so......... i'll spam the for sale section and hopefully someone who has what i want will see it

For a popular artist like this I would say using the sub threads within the main artist thread is fine and gets looked at/responded too. But I would agree that for artists without these separate threads you are left posting to a black hole unless you ram it down someone's throat in the wrong section.

This poster in particular has 14 posts of which most are wanted threads in the for sale section. Some are in the HM wanted section. He knows where the correct place for this is but thinks his posts deserve to be noticed at the detriment to those selling whose threads then get bumped down.
If you haven’t taken time to familiarise yourself with the site because maybe you’ve just registered, perhaps you shouldn’t be selling or buying on here straight away. Perhaps you’d ought to contribute a bit first.
