I went to the opening night of his show in Antwerp and then went back the following morning. Enjoyed it far more the second day when I was pretty much the only person there and got to tinker with all the pieces without all the champagne-quaffers getting in my way.
This coincides with the new ROA show. Tough call. I thought the same, so going to both. I think ROA shows are a little easier to enjoy when the space is a bit quieter - easier to play with the interactivity of the pieces when there's less of a scrum. Even more so if he does something similar to previous shows at Stolenspace, playing with viewing angles etc. I went to the opening night of his show in Antwerp and then went back the following morning. I would have liked to go since I really don’t get his work, and a vernissage could have helped. I have looked at many of his prints, and lived with a few big outdoor works of his literally downstairs from my place (I would see them at least twice a day), but I still don’t get anything out of his work.
So here is my (non rhetorical) question: what is his work about? It always leaves me somewhere between “so what” and mildly irritated by a formal pomposity in which I find no content. I must be missing something... postmodernism that I can’t grasp maybe?
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Start form White Cross st (a massive piece just off old st):
From there stroll toward the Shoreditch triangle and you’ll find another massive one on Hanbury st (off Commercial st):
And then wander on the side streets off Brick Lane going toward Hoxton for a few more smaller pieces (but some might have been covered, like the big one on nearby Buxton st. - he does not seem to be very respected by taggers).
