Does anyone have an recommendations of sites or of those to avoid? (UK based)

Brampton framing are pretty good - better quality than easy frames etc, but the pricing reflects that. You can specify museum glass, spacers etc.

Not looking to spend a huge sum. A framer quoted me ยฃ1200 Although would have been lovely not looking to spend anywhere near this.
Just needs a simple white/black wooden frame.
Is it even possible to get a mount for this size?

With framing you generally get what you pay for excluding a few details.
Adding a mount will increase dimensions no doubt so Iโm afraid youโre looking at acrylic (safety reasons) and bespoke framing. You do not have to get conservation/museum spec framing but even so itโs not going to be cheap cheap.
Sometimes itโs a false economy opting for cheap framing as one could be potentially disappointed with the finish, the glare, the artwork moving about underneath and constant repositioning.
I have had several works framed of similar size and whilst itโs not for everyone, paying that little bit more for higher specs does give you a much better finish and an overall sense of satisfaction
