Echo in the Night, by loother on Oct 5, 2018 14:31:14 GMT 1, I love Miss Bugs, but this isn't one of their best in my opinion. Maybe some purists are also put off by the fact it's an inkjet print where previous releases have been screened, often with bonus hand-finishing, without being wildly more expensive. I'm still very much looking forward to the show.

(1) previous print releases (once we dreamt, who ate the last hope) with the pop art character collages had some form of inkjet. they weren't 100% screened. (2) agree that some had gold leaf and/or aerosol stencil work (3) i think it is priced accordingly. the previously mentioned prints were larger, pricier, and had some "hand finished" work of some sort.

I'm still very much looking forward to the show. I agree it is not her best work but it is still worthy of a wall just not in my house. I am a purist myself but only relating to inkjet prints which are not allowed at or in my premises. I didn't even notice that it was an inkjet when I quickly scanned the info, I guess I just assumed that it was screened. Lessoned learnt for me, "never assume" also never read important things in a rushed manner. I was still at work doing a function for 280 covers with the food being of Indian theme so somewhere between getting out the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Matar Paneer while keeping 1 eye on the Palak Dal Chana, I missed the word Inkjet. Newbie mistake I know but on a high note, I have not received any complaints from the 280 souls that dined this evening.

However they did it, it's on my wall and I like it.

I’m sure that OWD, WATLH have no inkjet.

The entire hair area of both of these prints is 100% inkjet- It would be close to impossible to screen print that.

I’ve seen many, more complicated works that were created via screenprinting. What makes this one so unique?

I disagree. The description states Silkscreen, Stencil, gold leaf. No inkjet.

Yeah they don't state it, but the majority of their prints (including the ones you listed) are giclees which are screen-printed on top.

Nope. ’The majority of their prints(...) are giclees...’ That is an incorrect statement. I may be wrong, but I think the only other inkjets were the Monsters of Spin and Driving Miss Crazy. I do not own Monsters, but I believe that the background spin Á la Hirst was Giclee with screens and stuff on top. As for Driving Miss Crazy, the car background was inkjet with diamond dust on top:
But back to the topic....
Why would they add Inkjet to a print that has inkjet and not the.... You know what? Nevermind. I’ll ask Miss myself. To be continued...

I'm pretty sure all the cartoon characters in their recent pieces are ink jet. They're not CMYK screen printed, and if they were spot color screen printed, there would be a LOT more screen printed layers than they mention. Still look amazing though!
