The fans and huge line are here for the artist, but it didnt feel like there was a lot of reciprocity / love for the fans, feels mostly geared for the big buck collectors... Not to point fingers at the artist, he made a lot of works available - but they were not made available to his regular fans.
The new LA 1999-2018 book title ironically made me think of a tombstone... the end of an era.

OTI is clearly attempting to step things up with this show in LA. They were very picky and selective when it came to who got to see what. Not doubt many fans and smaller collectors feel left out...
What were the paintings like ? Did anyone snap any pics ?

i think that Invader is like BOTI : better out than in !
The real Museum is outside ... even if La Générale was not bad ( because waffles and stickers machine ) .. the best are, I think, as in Lefeuvre gallery, more intimate, with soft lights. Too much white space “. IN “ , kills a bit like the artworks.
Not keen of Le Musée en Herbe too, nor the cover of the last LA ... Even if it’s normal that the cover looks like the first L.A. show.,.

This was more geared towards people with deep pockets. I realized I enjoy seeing his pieces in the streets rather in a gallery. Invader should have done a BOTI and released a map with some sort of scavenger hunt. He could have at least pre-signed the books, that would have been a nice surprise for the fans would waited in line all day.
The best part of the show was talking to people in line, the beer and meeting Shepard Fairey.
