Banksy Print Ink and Paper Quality, by JockoLad on Oct 19, 2018 21:04:31 GMT 1, This is something that I know absolutely hee-haw about however was chatting to someone last weekend who does.
What sort of quality is the ink and paper used by Banksy in the prints produced over the years. My friend suggested that many modern artists prints won't last the test of time given the poor quality paper and ink used during the printing process. Is that the case with Banksy?
I know there are some genuine artists on the forum and would be interested to hear their take on it all. Are there any specialist printers on the forum who could provide even more information?
If the smell of the prints as they came out of the tubes from POW is anything to go by I am of the opinion that they were made of some toxic man-made substance that will more than last.
