This red colouring pencil I’m using was plucked out of the rubble after they demolished the Jungle migrant camp in Calais.

Along with a ridiculous lineup of artists (actual proper artists like Anish Kapoor! Sean Scully! Jeremy Deller! Rachel Whiteread! Mark Wallinger! Maggie Hambling! Raqib Shaw! ) I’ve been asked by migrateart to create a new work employing these colouring pencils. They gave me a red and blue - there’s something about those colours for me lately - but I also whacked on a load of oils too.

The piece will be exhibited as part of Multicolour in Cork St in London from March 19th and then auctioned by @phillipsauction on April 11th.

If you’ve ever considered buying my work this would be an amaaaaaaazing time to jump in and help those affected by the ongoing refugee crisis.
