The best framer we have in NL is l'encadreur in the kerkstraat in Amsterdam. He does museum stuff and the big galleries, but, pricey. I paid 255 euros for a frame app. 80 x 55 cm, his standard glass. beautiful, work though.

But, most artshops do framing, but make sure they use all conservational materials of th highest standards, not all do! I have good experiences with "swaak" in utrecht (oudegracht) and in Hengelo (ov) is a good guy too, although he moved and I dont know the name of his shop. Its combined with an "beeldentuin" and he used to be in Oldenzaal before.

Dont go to expo!

If you are far from utrecht or amsterdam, go to a quality gallery and ask where they frame their stuff, thats how I ended up with my framers!

In the end, I ended up at l'Encadreur in Kerkstraat Amsterdam.
They do amazing great work. They have experience and have a passion for it. I go there now all the time. I am sure MrFrameMan's work is excellent as well, but the number of work I need to frame is just too costly to send to the UK.

This weekend on Saturday I will bring a Ben Eine print and Damien Hirst print to l'Encadreur.

Swaak in Utrecht at the Oudegracht. I have never been there for framing but it may be worth to check out.

Might not be too many Dutchies on here but I figured I'd try anyway. Looking for a framer somewhere in the region of Amsterdam/Noord Holland. I have quit a few incoming prints, some rather expensive (multiple k's) some in the midrange (300's). As I'm new to all of this I could really use some recommendations! PM's in Dutch would also be appreciated

I would recommend Profilex profilex.nl/about They are not the cheapest but most certainly the best I know

L'encadreur is probably the best in the country (he does a lot for the big musea as well), all my high end stuff I frame there. But, he is even more expensive than the rest. I recently shipped my prints to gary (mister frameman) and for four pieces it was much, much cheaper and fine quality than framing in utrecht or amsterdam. Also, a lot of framers I talked to in the Netherlands do not use the highest standards in board/tape/hinges if you dont specifically ask for that, be very careful!
