Because an envelope is a lot smaller than a standard print, the "envelope" word just emphasizes the size problem.

Looks like the numbers are actually different when ordering from different countries... this could be: 1) good news (ie numbers are not sequential), or 2) very bad news because the numbers are area specific hence the total release is the sum of the

Nope - only have to figure out how to frame it and happily hang it ๐ (art is all about private, not market, value for me).
As I said, from the speed of the website at checkout, I expect several thousand released, but I bought happily nevertheless.

If this proves successful for him, I don't doubt he'll increase his edition sizes in the future.
On another note, I was thinking about the framing and isn't there a way to show both sides by having it placed between two sheets of glass? There must be a way like that?

I don't buy art to sell it but I do have to take into consideration when spending that kind of money on anything if it will maintain its value. I'm not in the luxury position not to. Its much easier to spend 3k on a Hirst H4 knowing that if I really have to sell it I could get my money back than spend half the amount on something that could be difficult to recoup. That's the only reason I'm not sure yet because I do like the piece but its a lot of money and I'm not sure how well it will keep its value when its an open timed edition.
