And I really do not consider Banksy to be a criminal. Just a subversive artist and genius.
As for the rest, thank you for sharing the other artist’s image. Didn’t know there was one out there, and the image I worked from was a different one shown here and in the gawker article, but I appreciate the knowledge. Maybe my next project will be full face rather than profile. I just felt for this piece profile would work best.
Also, I appreciate the supportive DM’s. I understand why a number of you wouldn’t post here publicly, but no worries. Thank you for the compliments.

That portrait image photo of Banksy if that is indeed him has been online for quite a few years now and also someone put it on a postage stamp type print a few years ago. Now with the Met police and probably other ones in other cities and countries installing the latest facial recognition spy cameras in public places and airports and points of entry etc could be that Big Brother is watching Banksy? Thank you for the kind note. I appreciate it. Actually, I have rather enjoyed all of the comments here, even from the childish schoolboys and their Freudian predilection to masterbatory references. Most likely they are virgins who have difficulty speaking to women or maybe I just don’t know what their problem is, but I’m guessing it’s hard to pronounce. I find it all amusing. With that in mind, yes, I can assure you the government knows exactly who Rob is and what he looks like. They can track you from a mile away through surveillance and tracking of electronics and the amount of cameras that are all around. They can hack into your laptops or cellphones and then look through the camera and hear through the microphone remotely. I was in the military, in communications. One fun game we did when I was in training in California on base when there was down time was to adjust spectrometers that pick up radio waves to the frequency range of cell phones, (they are really just high freq radios) and then listen in on conversations. It’s really easy if you have the right equipment and know what you are doing.. So believe you me, they know who he is, and what he looks like, and know where he has been and when he was there. I can assure forum members though he is not 3D. He is not a group of artists (but Rob does have a group of co-conspirators who act as assistants). He is not Del Naja (but they are good mates) and there is a small circle of artists and friends who know who he is and have worked with him often. The work in LA and during his summer residency in New York City would not have been possible without their assistance.. I think Americans or people here in the States are not as protective as in GB. Thus my ability to have confirmation, and even have it compared to recent, personal photos that have not been censored or released to the general public. Hell Terry has hours and hours of uncensored and unedited recordings of him from way back when...no one can be that naive to think nothing has found its way out.. . So with that said, there are many associates, current and former, who have corroborated my portrait in the US. Some are very well known artists. They joke about his ever farther receding hairline, Ben Franklin eyeglasses and hooked nose...got to love the earring too, although he has been seen without it recently. Thank you. He will be remembered as the Picasso of our generation. And I am so happy to have followed it before it became “Cause célèbre”. Toodles, YANK!!
I know that Apple phones can listen in on all conversations that people make in private while switched on and not in use. Apparently Apple says it's for marketing and picks up key words. Apparently the name used for an iphone by some people is "James Bond" and people refuse to have one at all costs.
Apple is an odd setup in reality. It's phones are made in a factory in China and in theory it's possible for the Chinese to add some dodgy spyware to the phones too.
Military communications when you were training. I imagine it similar to listening to Mexican radio while watching strange lights in the sky but probably more like that scene from the movie Heat where the guy in the shack manages to pick up all the banks plans and secrets out of the ether. There was a documentary in UK years ago by a show called World in Action or Panorama where they demonstrated how by using a trash can lid and other parts they could create a receiver which could pick up and eavesdrop on international phone calls bounced off satellites.
I doubt that Banksy has anything to hide and that any authority is interested in him. The ongoing mystery part of marketing and keeping prices high and everything having to be positive and wow how special helps the flippers and investors. One things for sure, he certainly has good connections and finances to be able to make that show in LA and pay and accommodate assistants to fly over for three months to do the work and also hire the warehouse plus get the likes of Brad and Anjelina to visit the show and buy stuff and also to get everything in the mainstream media, in the UK at least using a paid for PR firm. It looks like a good business plan with some investors that got behind it all. Did he used to drive a Porsche Cayenne?

I'm quite aware of that, doesn't make it right though. Its not the phone its the person using the phone in a weird creepy unnecessary stalker way to make others feel uncomfortable that is the problem. During the summer I was harassed and followed by a drone all day! Believe me that was really unpleasant but there wasn't much I could do about it...as Gatwick airport discovered last week. Tech is tech, grubby little people with nothing better to do with their lives other than harass others for fun are the problem. |
