While saving for a print eventually, these plates have a nice aesthetic to them and strong image - price isn't too bad either!

True, and for that reason I've made a conscious decision to stay out of the vinyl toy category - with my personality I'd need to collect them all and render me homeless. Plates are made to be used, not displayed (except at your grandma house). So buy and enjoy it during your meals. A good way to introduce the artists to the rest of the family of your friends.
If I go for them (still hesitating), they will be used for the snacks/otsumami.

Limited here probably means that there won't be enough for everyone, so please be on time on the website and get them while you can. Nothing to expect past the release event.
