Crystal chandeliers give off the most amazing light in my view.

I think some art would work pretty well on a ceiling (like invader) but I've never actually seen anyone do it. That's why I wondered.

Also toyed with the idea of having my bedroom ceiling done as a commission from an artist I like. Painting directly onto surface seems good. We have earthquakes in my former home (LA) and current (Japan) so mounting anything physical overhead freaks me out.
