Framing with different rail/stile widths?, by Rouen Cathedral on Jan 19, 2019 20:34:50 GMT 1, Has anyone ever seen or frames something with different rail or stile widths. For example the top and bottom rail would be say 4" and the side stiles 2"?
Or maybe just the bottom rail is thicker?

Well thinking I'd keep the 45 degree miter just that the larger rail would have a vertical extension down. If that makes any sense.
