If someone has bought off this seller and has received there items, they should take his address and name and throw it to avante. Plenty of time to cancel his order as they ship in 4 weeks.

I agree and disagree with you on your points. Both of which are valid. Selling vs. flipping.
The main difference I think this forum has agreed upon in differentiating these two is the amount of time since release but that’s not exactly a proven science either. I.e. banksy soup can posters. I’m bias and will be called out for this but I think flippers help the art ecosystem. Everyone gets more exposure and Everyone makes money. The only person who really misses out are certain collectors and newbies who don’t understand how to procure or have a relationship with publishers. It’s a learning curve. Now, the collectors who miss out are the losers here and are “forced” to overpay by double typically. But you can’t have everything. And not everyone will be happy. Supply and demand are king in these situations.

Now, Mocking the forum.. well its tit for tat. The forum can sure dish out the hate and malice but can’t take a joke from this guy? Obviously, we all know it’s banter and shite talking. But! It’s mildly entertaining. The first few times the stories made me laugh. But yes, I agree it’s tiresome and has run it’s course.

Either way.. to go out of my way or for anyone to go out of their way to financially hurt someone just because you don’t agree with them is definitely a bitch move. Now, you’re taking the initial step of taking this “issue” from the forum to the real world.

I am curious why you would defend someone who hasn't actually contributed anything to this entire board in all 62 of their posts except to be a troll and also offers pieces that most cannot get from source for over twice what they cost?  

I hope you never have a piece that you really want only to find a ton of them on the 'bay for wayyyy more than they originally cost.  I can tell you it sucks balls.  And then for this troll to stir up the pot and for you to defend...he deserves to have the print rescinded.  I see time and again others say that the artist should be the one making the money.  And I have seen on the Paul Insect new print thread that his prices have gone way up b/c everyone else is making money off his prints except himself.  I blame wimpyboya$$hat and others like him.

Must be nice to be able to afford a $65k Kaws set of prints. I, on the other hand, do not collect art for business purposes, but rather to put on my wall.  I can't afford to impress galleries or artists that way.  I also try to interact with the artists as much as possible but am limited by my day job and such.

If I could get in the back of the queue to have contact with Paul Insect this day, it'd still probably take a few years to have him even recognize my name. There are artists that are some of my favs and I try to have a relationship with them. But I cannot do that with ALL artists.

If I were to buy prints from all the galleries to have better standing with them, I would. Again, I just can't afford that route.

So if you think outing a flipper is bad etiquette...well I think coming to this board the day of a sale that was insta-hot and trying to hock your piece for double what it cost is bad etiquette. I understand that like a-holes, we all have our opinion, but to defend wimpy on this board is rather uncalled for (in my opinion).

Go put it on the ‘bay and quit being a troll/flipper on this board. Or wait until someone posts that they are willing to pay 2x for said print and then DM that you are willing to flip.
