Framing a lenticular print, by kaotek on Feb 4, 2019 22:02:26 GMT 1, Is there a different approach recommended for framing lenticular prints? I am looking to have my Pejac Linea framed, and the framer recommended setting it directly against the glass. Obviously for prints thatโs not recommended, but is that also the case for lenticular?
Thanks

Framing a lenticular print, by Andy 123 on Feb 5, 2019 0:45:07 GMT 1, Lentiulals are made from plastic, i prefer not to frame the with any glass, only use frames sticked directly to the artwork. If used glass be sure to use museum standard ones, to be sure non of reflections will be caused by a glass. BTW It will be hard to use passe-partout, those prints are heavy ones

Framing a lenticular print, by d.r. perseus on Feb 5, 2019 1:26:08 GMT 1, Having framed one, my only quibble would be to use the clearest glass or plexi you can as the โplastic nessโ of the glass is confounded with the plastic of the lenticular.
If that makes sense

Framing a lenticular print, by Criminal Mischief on Feb 5, 2019 2:44:07 GMT 1, I displayed my Ben Eine LOVE lenticular print by sandwiching it between a piece of plexi and a piece of masonite cut to the same size and using swiss clips so that its floated on the wall without the appearance of a frame. I love the resulting look.

Framing a lenticular print, by dusty11 on Aug 29, 2021 13:17:31 GMT 1, I have a similar question so hope this is the right place to post. Trying to frame a lenticular Pejac Linea, the framer suggested a Walnut frame floating it on a white museum board and using uv screen plexiglass. He was affixing it with silicon and I would like advice if this is the way to go. It has been flattened for a few months after being rolled in a tube and seems to have flattened. Was unsure if this would affect the print? I was recommended the framer and doing quality work, but it is quite expensive and want to make sure I'm doing it right the first time. Appreciate learning from this great resource! thanks
