I applaud faile on each release though and putting stuff into collectors hands. Faile and Obey seem to be able to do it where as some seem to be a bit elitist in who owns their work.

Yup. Indeed. Everyone has an opportunity to get something at an affordable rate. Much respect to Faile and Obey. One of the few who have not sold out.

I was umming and arring on this for a few hours. Really need to cut down my art purchases. In the end I took the plunge, seeing that I actually saw the show this piece is from in Strasbourg, I really like this piece and I don't own any other Faile piece. Quite glad they were not yet sold out.

I think Faile has historically priced to market and upped runs to keep pricing reasonable, which over time has made them a difficult flip. My guess if Fairey priced at $150-250 his stuff would be flipped less - and more fans happy.
