I picked this one up on ebay while I was at the Impure Idols Micallef show in LA back in 07'. I was super excited when I won the auction. The original owner got it as a gift from Faile.

Oh yes! Lost all power quite often. But it was gorgeous and utterly lovely to drive. British racing green. Had the original hard (little quarter lights) and soft tops. Spoke wheels. I was in love with it; a thing of beauty. Then I had a kid (it was my main and only car).

Thanks, wasnโt a big truck thankfully. I ran into itโs rear wheel and it acted like a giant airbag before shearing off at the axel and zipping past my head. I walked away, but the Spitfire was a total loss. Agree, truly a classic and fun car. Back to topic, this is a lovely Faile.
