Been a long time furniture collector and now turning my attention to my walls. I'll post some pieces here soon that I think you all will enjoy. Eames, Saarinen, Bertoia, Marcel Wanders, Van der Rhoe , Wegner, etc. (moooi, knoll, bauhaus, miller...)

Need to fix the reclining mechanism - it doesn't lock in position - but Oh Mmm Gee it is comfortable.

Pair of Jindrich Halabala original 1940 H269 armchairs. It doesnโt get much better as these have been restored with top quality Bute CF774 Storr Eggshell 1501 fabric. The chairs still have their patina showing age and have been lightly waxed.
ยฃ5500 pair
A very special early original Tom Dixon S chair. You can tell it's early by the lovely flat base, it's in great structural condition although some of the straw may be showing some signs of age (patina) - as expected
An emblem of contemporary design, the chair can be found in the permanent collections of the worldโs greatest museums, from the Triennale in Milan to the MoMa in New York.

And while I'm here and new to this thread, here are the favourite pair of my collection Papa Bears.
They're not for sale unless someone was very serious.

I understand the Herman Miller and Vitra licensing deals. But have been offered the ICF options and wondered what collectors thought of these. Produced under license until 1986. Then continued to produce without license until the Italian courts ruled against them in 2004 when they ceased production.
What are collectors thoughts on those produced between 86 and 04. Are these less desirable/saleable etc ?
