I'm surprised that he didn't receive much of a price bump post dismaland but only seems to be Stampede that went up. Still love his work mind.

His (actually not so new any longer) new direction is more "modern kitsch" than anything else (e.g. the 4 prints sitting in the TS web shop). IMHO, he lost track when he started to abandon the negative white space around his figurative compositions. There was a time when there was a waiting list of 100's for his originals, and enormous excitement and queues for his shows. Reminds me of some recent discussions in other threads! I still love my small original from a good few years ago, in the old style - less keen on his subsequent changes in direction.

Good post, as there are these days a lot of similar works. My favourite two prints on the wall are ‘thunder’ and ‘stampede’ love the old prints white background and deckled edges. He moved direction as There was a round nautical print josh did, then more wildlife prints without the urban theme.. it just wasn’t for me. Still would like ‘shedding’ in my collection but no room at present.

But one thing I love and picked up recently as Toyqube dropped the price is this beauty, skull version..... if you like JK, have the room one of these are very much worth it.

I agree. Every now and then I have a look to see if there are any Streetwise Charlie’s on the market. Used to see one hanging in a window of a gallery in N London somewhere and it’s one of the reasons I started to look into art seriously
