After they sold out of the stock they had the listing for the companions said "back ordered," prompting me to call and inquire. I wanted to know if I purchased one while it said "back ordered" if I would be guaranteed one when they got more. The helpful customer service employee said that they would be testicles, but wasn't able to give me specifics. As of the posting of this, MoMA no longer has the companions in their shop. Knowing the amount of speculation that has amassed regarding whether or not they are truly open or not, I took this as meaning that various places would be getting more shipments in.

while not 100% positive... i think they were originally put up as "backordered". MOMA was just taking preorders for their next batch which should arrive around march or april. the listings were live most of the day and they were accepting all backorders. the site only started to lag when kaws posted it to his IG account which was several hours after they had been up. oh, and testicles.
