Edited to say that it looks like Perrotin is taking pre-orders now. According to the website shipping is supposed to start end of february.

Pricing, tax and shipping fair add's up. Perrotin are a gallery in Paris. They are one of the outlets that sold the open edition companions before. Maybe they just got ahold of another batch of the companions. Other sellers were the MOMA and an asian gallery (if I remember correctly). MOMA is probably the easiest way to get them in North America. Maybe there will be more sellers in the US as well. Perrotin was a good source for me as I'm in Europe. Perrotin took some time with the delivery but in the end it worked very well for me. Don't forget to factor in tax, shipping and customs if you order cross-boarder. The BFF is a plush numbered out of 3000. In July 2016 they had a Blue BFF that was numbered out of 1000.

There were 3 colors (Grey, Brown, Black) in 2 versions (Full body and Flayed). The BFF is a plush numbered out of 3000. In July 2016 they had a Blue BFF that was numbered out of 1000. |

If it's any consolation these aren't ridiculously marked up on the secondary market. I got mine for $300 on ebay about 3 weeks ago.
