Martin Whatson - Figure at the window (main ed) , by Deleted on Apr 10, 2019 16:49:00 GMT 1, Someone was selling a matching pair 'reverse & standard' on ebay a month or so back for around the same price so I'm guessing £1300 is a tad ambitious for just the standard copy.

Thank you for letting me know.
Can you send me a link (or pm) on how you find that info?
Trying / Failing a bit here, but have had a better respons then expected, so I will most likely make a decision over the weekend.

Martin Whatson - Figure at the window (main ed) , by Deleted on Apr 11, 2019 7:09:35 GMT 1, Thanks, i see now that: One sold 67 days ago for 1320 USD. another for 27 days ago for 27 days at 1600 USD. that means an increase of 7 usd a day between these two. 27x7 = 189 USD more today, brings it up to 1789 usd or 1365GBP if it follows this trend (yeah I know only two items, but I could bring in the one sold at 2500 usd the sold 22.march) . This beeing the only one on the market, following the latest trend over the latest 50 days, then it is actually not so stupidly prices IMO. Sometimes you gotta go with your gut. Ans as mentioned all ofers are welcome! Will not try to persuade anyone, make up your own mind, I am just stating the facts here. Thanks for leading me to these price-sites 👍 If it hasn't sold already ... it's too expensive.
Maybe try ebay mate cos honestly it wont sell here.

I'll try to explain why people are responding this way. Everyone tries to make money, and that is ok, but it is common courtesy to make it look like you are not directly trying to take advantage of forum's users. This is supposed to be a place where users wink at each other and, united, try to avoid the meat market that print/og collecting has become. With this in mind, when someone tries to pull off such a big markup right here in front of everybody, you get called out for being an ass, which is exactly what everyone else in the world is, but they are just smarter than you at it. If you want to make a big mark up on your prints, that's perfectly, fine, just do it somewhere else where people are not actually trying to enjoy art.
Ciao!

Thanks for your clarificarion. Noted!
But you insinuating that I do not enjoying art or whatever, is completely groudnless and empty thoughts.... What do you base that on? My one-star rating?
What is the correct UUA-Price for this now then, if you can enlighten me?
What it did cost yesterday isn't much of a valid argument for todays price, is it?
How many in here would sell their Banksy Sale ends for 500£ the next day? or even 1500£?
I completely see your point, and that this might look like I am trying to make money of the forum members, but heck no.
I have earlier gotten prints for people in here at releases before, without any mark up or nothing, packing and shipping abroad, just to help out. I have done the same multiple times for multiple people on other forums aswell.
In this case, I just need the money, and I am being honest about it. Much better than flipping under false account/names in the shaddows (what I guess you refer to as being smart?) and I put my asking price where I felt it should be and have based my arguments for the price on real facts/evidence from the data I was able to find...
Have had a few offers, top one beeing very close to asking price, so sorry if I have offended anyone in here for asking 1300gbp.
I guess eBay or somewhere else is the correct place next time I want to sell something at market price,
Cheers.
btw, thanks for learning me the term "Don Quixote"?

It made me smile in what has otherwise been a fairly shitty day.

Parts of my brain is still thinking as an engineer, but I see now how my sarcasm doesn't really come through very well in this message... Sorry about that!

Other people have an interest in maintaining that line of bs because they are trying to snipe good deals to guess what... Sell them on again later.
