Kind of his calling card are the men and women in profile. I am a big fan of Romare Bearden too, and Derrick Adams' prints kind of remind me of him.

Not comparing talents, but Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst sometimes didn't/don't even design the product. Their staff would do it and Andy/Damien just ok it and then sign it.
I really haven't made up my mind on giclees, but I do like Derrick's work so I have to go with what I can afford.
(and now that I think of it, didn't Jonas Wood do a xerox print? They were like $150 to start and now I don't even know what they are going for...but it was a xerox!!!)

Plus, they seem to be a bit outside his "signature" style of prints. Then there is the $3500. If I was going to spend that on one print, it probably would be for a Joan Miro or the like. Not that I don't dig Derrick Adams' work...

I agree. Tandem is like the academic version of PACE (might be an extreme comparison, but you get the point). Own a couple prints published by them.

The Instagram post says it is screenprint, fabric and collage...should be awesome!!! Definitely going to try to pick one of these up!!
