I have increased the price due to undervalue. Some great forum members told me of some recent auction results which was really helpful. This is still considerably less than elsewhere. I know we don't pay auction prices on this forum.
Also I do not work for an art gallery anymore.

I remember when this forum used to be about helping each other and not knocking down someone straight away.
It was a place where you could find something you wanted at a good price. Somewhere you could get a heads up on the latest release from your favourite artist. Oh and yes people made a few dollars from it but not being ludicrous.
Things have changed here and thatโs why a lot of the OGs arenโt here anymore. Well that and they are living it up off their Banksy money ๐คช

This is still a great place to learn about art and collecting imo, just need to dodge the shaddy characters that try to sell fakes, or at least call them out for fun.
So for anyone new to collecting, especially Kaws pieces, a good tip is to know the reputation of the seller. And if the seller has even a hint of shaddines you want to avoid at all costs. I know it maybe tempting, because you've been searching for a particular piece for so long, or the price is really good, but trust me....GTFO while you can, it's just not worth the headache.
So even without knowing OP, you can start to investigate his claims. OP is claiming he didn't know the value of the Darth Vader. Yet the pictures were taken using a high res camera, studio set-up, in a GALLERY. SO you mean, even though you took high res pictures in a gallery, you had no idea about the price of the piece?
OK so obviously this claim doesn't match up....anytime you even feel a hint of something fishy like this...GTFO.
And of course, case and point....this piece turns out the be a FAKE.
