Red Propeller Information?, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Sept 11, 2007 20:17:55 GMT 1, Hi all - I just purchased via paypal the Ian Francis, Girl in New York, print listed under their resale prints. I'm a bit concerned as it still seems to be available.
From what I understand they are a fine gallery to deal with but, I'm concerned that perhaps someone else has already purchased this as the piece has remained on their site after I purchased it.
It's a lot of money to have tied up if the print is really not available. I emailed them to get confirmation but, would like to know if anyone has a phone # for the gallery?

I've been watching it for quite some time and I offered a sum when they were taking bids but, they never got back to me. Then today, I noticed they decided to change their resale policies so that all resales have set prices. I have been on the hunt for the small editions of Ian Francis and scooped it up as soon as I saw they had posted a price next to it.
Thanks for the reassurance. Can't hardly wait - hopefully it is mine!

On a positive note, I just received my Kelsey Brooks print - it's very nice - and affordable to boot!

Pretty different round the girl's legs & darker hair.
I did email them asking about it - but didn't get any answer.
Just letting you know - as the print you (hopefully) just bought will (probably) look more like the other one.
Still a beautiful print either way!

I'd imagine it's the same as that (same as yours) as well. These aren't faile prints so, they've all got to be pretty much identical.

I noticed that paulah. I'm wonder if the picture on the resales page is a shot taken directly from the original canvas. All the giclees I've seen of Girl in NY are like the one redpropeller have listed on Ian's own page (rather than the resales page).
