The glitter adheres itself well to wet paint, which is what you can see in the clip. It sticks much better than diamond dust, which is a bit more tricky to work with, although doesn't get everywhere in the same way glitter does.

Hasn’t shed one bit. I even had to take it back to the framer to replace the plexi. To this day not one flake of glitter.
