Sorry if I seem vague but I just don't know what number to stick on it - "I'm noo here" so not au fait with best practice. Would people prefer i put a big number on it and try to beat me down? I can if that's the protocol, but it seems unnecessarily complicated ...?

As you have already researched and found nothing of recent to compare , you are most likely to get lowball offers as to the buyers advantage , you know what you bought it for , put a rough figure you would like so you can get offers around that figure otherwise offers will be wildly random , blek has a following but nothing excitable in high prices in the secondary market.
This canvas of yours is one of the better examples of his work and instantly recognisable as blek and would say a future classic ,the artist is getting old๐

Totally agree with Tab1. Whatโs โunnecessarily complicatedโ is to say you have no idea. At least give potential buyers something to work with such as โoffers above xโ or something on those lines. Best with the sale. R

I could be wrong but I would say that โauction somewhereโ reference you made with an estimate of 4-6K is wildly optimistic. My guess, again I could be wrong, is that a piece that size would be primary market priced with 2 or 3 in front of it and who knows on secondary. Blek is 100% the real deal and arguably one of if not the best but his market is not crazy. Gorgeous piece though. Hope it finds a great new home. R
