Thanks for the reply. There are a handful of pieces that I havenโt been able to shake from my head, and โIโm OKโ is one of them. I keep coming back to it. I have an uncanny ability to pretend that my life is roses, and that โIโm OKโ when the reality is that Iโm drowning.
Keep doing what you do. I hope to pick up a canvas before theyโre out of my range. Which probably wonโt be long if you keep this up.

I've had quite a few messages from people asking me about the edition so here is an excerpt from a interview I did with artrepublic speaking about my work and the new piece 
How have people responded to your new piece?
The response to the print โIโm OK โ Midnight Editionโ has been hugely positive. For this edition, I teamed with my good friend and incredible screen printer Joe Vass who has worked with likes of Harland Miller and Damien Hirst, he is a true magician and artisan when it comes to printing. We wanted to create a print that set a really high standard in terms of my work and Iโm so happy with how itโs turned out. People who have seen the print in the flesh have been commenting on the depth of colour and how the water really shimmers in the light.
Is mental health something thatโs been present in your own life?
Sure. I think that mental health is something that affects everyone and making art has definitely been a way for me to maintain my own mental wellbeing. From my first โIโm OKโ print I had so many people message me saying that the image had given them strength and that they could relate to the sentiment. As an artist, this is a hugely honouring and gratifying effect to have.
I guess the optimistic and playful nature of my work is my way of trying to reinforce my own inner-strength, as sort of visual mantras. For so long I worried and stressed about creating art to the point where it was virtually impossible to commit to making a picture. Now it flows so naturally and with such joy and I donโt feel so precious, I just learnt to have fun with it โบ.
I feel wider attitudes towards mental health and mental illness is gradually changing for the better. Society is becoming more sensitive to the fact that itโs ok to not feel ok and people are becoming more open to sharing their thoughts and seeing this vulnerability and openness as a signifier of great strength rather than weakness.

I think they look great. I always regretted not buying the original pink version but actually I think I prefer these, plus they are bigger, plus they are screenprint and not giclee!

Congrats on the release Euan! It's a simple yet powerful image, and one that definitely resonated with me. The release is reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the print.
For those on the fence, the print is beautiful in person, and Euan's a stand up guy. I recently purchased an original canvas from him, and he's an incredibly kind and gracious person. He's the type of artist that I'm grateful to be in a position to support.
