BUT, he also just signed a deal with Sony for some new stuff...I think Hebru expanding his art will come and will be good. Opinions are like @sses...everyone has one. But look at Invader...while a prolific street artist, but when it comes to prints, he makes atari characters and pot plants and scooters. Invader's stuff sells...

I'd love to see one make it. But it won't be Hebru unfortunately.. he's limiting his work too much. And let's be honest, this print is just a picture of his toy. Where's the thought, meaning, message?
Trust me, I've been following him for years and years as I live within 1.5 hours of Chicago.
But there's no growth, no new thoughts. Same topic, same images...
Can't really compare to invader.. he's got his niche sure, but he's world-wide for a long time now.. Hebru sells in Asia NYC and LA.. even before he moved from Chicago, his original pieces and some prints continue to sit there
Also, the secondary "real" market meaning money has taken to invader, not Hebru. I've been offered originals that cost 30-50k at source for 10-15k numerous times, even recently. That's never going to happen with an invader original.
Besides, Chicago has some immense talent that out shines him easily imo.. Ryan Travis Christian, Sentrock I believe will get bigger in the next 5 years, etc etc.. there are a lot of American artists "making it"....
But these guys printing and making toys off iPad drawings are fly by night in the long run
