Glastonbury Festival, by xite on Jul 23, 2024 7:40:40 GMT 1, Lroy has spent weeks lying about them to manipulate people into letting them go on the cheap. He’s been working accross multiple accounts trolling genuine collectors. Becuase he doesnt go to festivals but wants to pick them up in batches cheap on EBay to flip later.
la Linterna are a print house from Columbia, supported by Banksy by bringing them to his stage at the festival. They had screen printing machines on site, in an area connected to Banksy’s stage… which Banksy used. And a stall outside it selling prints. They are limited edition (upto 500) Banksy screen prints to commemorate his new stage at Glastonbury.

Glastonbury Festival, by xite on Jul 23, 2024 8:21:20 GMT 1, Then as of yesterday accounts connected to Lroy have been SO desperate they’ve been pretending fakes of these exist to discredit them, creating fake images of inkjet copies to drive down prices to kill the eBay market… which is wild 🤡. In the end the evidence points to of a small group of people, across multiple account. ‘Banksy’s mob’ who are anti collector, anti art fan..a bit thick and just arrogant, paranoid pricks basically 🤷

Glastonbury Festival, by PC Baby on Jul 23, 2024 8:34:03 GMT 1, So, basically you are saying that dear old Lroy is part of the Banksy mob, and by default you are insinuating that Banksy himself is, in your words "an arrogant, paranoid p*ick" - and yet you so desperately want these prints by La Lintera to be genuine Banksy items..
Well done, why don't you pat yourself on the back for being so clever ! 😂

Glastonbury Festival, by lukas01 on Jul 23, 2024 9:20:46 GMT 1, Edit: My sincere apologies to this lovely UAA Forum for stooping as low as this xite character, who's been making all our lives a bane on this otherwise interesting Glastonbury thread. I believe that "xite" is the result of the same forum context. When a new person interfaces in this virtual space, unfortunately, they are not always welcomed with open arms. Indeed, it is often normal for many users to attack the latest arrivals. Obviously not everyone does this, and fortunately there are users who are open to dialogue.
However, from these behaviors, I believe reactions like those of the user ''xite'' arise.
Right or wrong, we should reflect.

Glastonbury Festival, by lukas01 on Jul 23, 2024 9:27:23 GMT 1, Been away for some time as such excuse the ignorance. Are the prints from Glastonbury confirmed banksy works. Are they limited edition or mere posters as such how do they differ from the cut and run posters which we know were legitimately created by Banksy ? Prints are not by Banksy but friends of Banksy ( La Linterna and/or others ). if you are considering that prints made by friends of Banksy, so they are Banksy. Banksy will never confirm as they are not from him, so everyone does what he wants : to believe or not to believe. For me it’s Glastonbury prints ( on the lot, some are very weak ) I like both, Terminal-1 and Borderline. I think even in Borderline, it's more rock and roll. It could also be a genre of "visual music" given the colors used.
I didn't buy them anyway. But they are very beautiful.
If I were to buy one in the future, I would choose the Borderline.

Glastonbury Festival, by xite on Jul 23, 2024 9:35:00 GMT 1, If it’s flippers he hates so much they could be confirmed and given a COA based on assessment with a Glasto ticket. Cant fake a glasto ticket they’re unique and not sold on eBay as have personal info a photo on them. Then anyone who flipped are out of luck, it’s a max of one per person. Although, probably enjoys fucking off art fans and manipulating the media too much to confirm them.
Doesn’t matter anyway.
Nobodies desperate. Nobodies faking them.

It would be right for the discussion to get back on track. Poster and Glastonbury Festival.

Do you think children can participate in that festival, or would it be better to leave them at home? Is there also some space for children?

Personally, I wouldn’t work or take kids there. But there’s a lot of families, big family fields. It must be really good for kids. You’d want another couple in your group probably to swap time out away from the family areas.

If some here did not have attention to Banksy, they look like all the Linterna ( that are making Glastonbury prints too) , they are nice, ok, but it does not justify this madness around. if Banksy himself wanted that people think that they are from him, he could sign it one before the printing ( as the Bristol Anarchist petrol Bomb poster ). friends.

Glastonbury Festival, by xite on Jul 23, 2024 10:00:07 GMT 1, he could’ve have struggled with the machines. They were really old ones I think from the 1800s and with the paper from La Linterna being thin, many had printing errors to start with.
Maybe he’s a bit short for them? Maybe next year La Linterna will pack a little stool so he can work properly 🤷

Glastonbury Festival, by xite on Jul 23, 2024 11:08:40 GMT 1, These Barbour hats were £40 at the festival which I thought was a lot. Keeping mine for patches and badges, taking it next year. Did want a second one but not for £100+
