Best thing to do is go on all their sites and check the sold lots for the piece your selling. Make sure you check the terms (sellers fees) If its an expensive piece haggle the fees.
If its worth over 10k artnet will sell for you with no fees

Artcurial and Heritage are about the best but if its a very rare expensive piece i would try Sotheby's/Christies.
