All of these could sell at higher edition, lower cost.. but that wouldn't serve their new purpose. I'd expect bigger editions to start coming in at 1.5-3k instead of $350, with similar quality... Fomo will make people believe it's worth it now after a few secretive long pre sold out releases. Marketing 101

And in all honesty, love Mike.. love.. but bothered me the girl is grinding on the guy image wise, and 2k USD for 8" I just couldn't do. Disappointed as I was looking forward to it....

Id love that in a print. |

Debating between the Duck Face and Twins prints, or one of the framed charcoal drawings.
Have you seen these prints in the flesh?
Would expect to pay around $650 USD for the prints(?), and the charcoal drawings (24 x 18") are $1100 USD.
Print or drawing?
Which print would anyone recommend?
I like his colors, but an OG drawing is tempting.
Any input appreciated.

I like that particular drawing because it has "Boy and BFF" in it. Two of his most enduring and recurring themes.
In general though I'd go for colour. Duck face is my favourite of the two prints.
If your money can stretch a little further I'd recommend a small sculpture. This is where the characters really come alive IMO.

His latest solo show at The Hole in New York saw a bit of a price jump. You used to me able to get a small sculpture around the 1100 to 2000 USD range. I'm guessing around 3kusd now. The latest show started around the 7.5kusd although much bigger and more complex. |

I agree with earlier comments about color, tho the drawing has a great raw simplicity to it. I ultimately started with the ceramic pieces as no framing necessary. Liked being able to display thrm immediately.

A bronze piece is definitely on my list next.
