this is maybe his most wall-friendly print aside from meadow, and even that is a little aggressive with the arrows.

price is fair. hopefully image critics mean that the prints actually go to those who want them rather than those buying to sell.

It isn't really. Inuit is not accurate either.
There is a long version too….

i think all of the below are easily worse:

• linea
• wound

I was surprised of that as well based on others you still see floating around like scatter and forest but heavy seas is easier to digest and understand. Message is clear and the added color I think makes it more wall friendly as it pops a little. IMO 

So who is the Seppuku seller on ebay.... I mean seriously how long you going to keep something rolled up? Best part of the sale is they say stored flat yet needed books to hold it flat to take pictures   at least these you can store.... good luck

This looks great but not only will this not fit in a normal flat file, it will cost north of £1k to get framed properly - even then, a print of this size float framed will be rippled all over after a few months. If you’re willing to spend close to £3k with shipping and tax included you may aswell try to source the new Harland print.

Inuit vs. Eskimo

You will notice that I use the term Eskimo in this blog. No, it’s not because I’m an insensitive jerk who prefers to use derogatory terms for people. It is because in Alaska, where I grew up and where the languages that fascinate me reside, Inuit is not preferred over Eskimo.

In Canada, the term Inuit is preferred over Eskimo, which is considered offensive. What many people do not know is that using the term Inuit as a blanket term for all arctic people in Alaska is offensive – the opposite of the situation in Canada. Why? Because there are two main groups of arctic people in Alaska, the Yupik and the Iñupiat. The Yupik peoples are Eskimo but not Inuit. Quite understandably, they don’t like being called Inuit because they aren’t Inuit (and the word doesn’t even exist in Yupik languages). This means that it’s better to call arctic Alaskans Eskimos, not Inuit – or better yet, call them Yupik if they are Yupik, Iñupiat if they are Iñupiat, Cup’ik if they are Cup’ik, and so on.

So, to sum it up:

Canada: Inuit

United States (i.e., Alaska): Eskimo, which includes Yupik and Inuit peoples

Greenland: Kalaallit (Inuit may be acceptable as well, but I simply don’t know)

Russia: Eskimo (albeit in Russian, Эскимо). Mostly Yupik peoples, with the exception of Inuit on Big Diomede. Sirenikski may be separate from both Yupik and Inuit.

I think they look great. Pejac set a high bar early on in his career of which draws criticism with each release, that’s a good thing.

Repetitive message or not it’s obviously an important topic to the artist and it’s nice to seen him push forward with it. Just as many other artists do with their agenda. I for one haven’t gotten tired of the images he produces, keep em coming.

And what’s with the cartoon comparisons as of late, a bit odd.

I am wondering how much the shipping will be considering the crating.

Size wise, i would have preferred a smaller format, easier to hang and swap with other artworks. Anyway, that’s the choice of the artist, we have to respect it, liking it or not.

I am curious to how the HF will look like. It’s great that he is reserving them for charity this time. Pejac and Max seems to care about trying different methods of selling. Giving to charity is also a good trend imo, especially with the messages that are carried by Pejac’s work. Good job!
