I don't think this will damage his business financially, may cull a few 100 timeswasters,  He has been doing this long enough and honestly does not warrant what is happening here. Unlike a lots of galleries he has a shop with all the overheads etc, does shows, meets real people ie real life shit, it's not all about just having a website and doing everything 24/7 online

its already been stated to give it a rest until ultimate resolution, at which point i think most would see no need to delete the thread

just let it run its course. thread seems a bit premature. if in 3 month the guy doesnt have his money, pitchfork away. i doubt the gallery is going anywhere if they've been on this board over a decade.

Lock it would be good, but the hits and the post counts matter too much to the forum staying alive apparently. Same reason for the other shite threads being created.
