Slight Damage, by rjf76 on Jul 8, 2019 7:27:30 GMT 1, Think it depends. I’m really fussy but then shouldn’t you be when buying something?.... can you gently push it out from the other side?

Slight Damage, by Deleted on Jul 8, 2019 10:53:24 GMT 1, If it's too small to be seen on camera then I suspect you are being too much of a perfectionist. It is not unusual to have very slight damage to items that are new. In fact some artists, like KAWS for example, are notorious for sending out figures that almost all have some kind of imperfection to them. I have even damaged prints myself taking them out of the tube. Just enjoy them for what they are.

Slight Damage, by Happy Shopper on Jul 8, 2019 11:07:03 GMT 1, If it's just a small dent, will it flatted back? Maybe use the back of a spoon. Hard to say without seeing the type of damage.

Slight Damage, by avec art on Jul 8, 2019 11:18:20 GMT 1, are you talking about a screen print here? Because screen printing is a traditional and quite labour intensive process, which is not an exact science. This is why you'll often see in the sales description that there will be minor variation between prints. In the act of going from drawers to printing table, to drying rack, and then repeat for further colour layers, the paper can aquire little bumps and dents. This is normally part of the charm of getting a piece of art which has required the hand of an artist or craftsman rather than simply a machine. Quality control dictates if the print is of a satisfactory standard to be included in the edition, so if it wasn't dented as part of its carriage then the artist/ printhouse/ gallery has deemed it to be fine. If your print is a giclee then that might be a different matter.

Or do you need a proper camera?
Anyway, would also depend on what print and what kind of print it is. Are we talking a 5K release? Or Imbue's 24 hours Club ?
