Shipping framed art, by The Observer on Jul 15, 2019 23:35:12 GMT 1, Its actually not that bad. I am in the us and shipped a 30x40 print framed in glass to germany for about 1k including packing. Framing cost was 700, so the buyer basically paid 300 for shipping.

Shipping framed art, by jay4077 on Jul 16, 2019 9:08:08 GMT 1, I have used Pack & Send (https://www.packsend.co.uk/) twice without problems. They are very cheap. I payed less than £150 for them to pick up the framed piece (50x70), pack it and send it to Denmark.

Not sure what they charge as I wasn't paying when they came to pick up from me but the service was amazing.

No...shipping a framed work cost 1000. The buyer paid for shipping. But the print had been framed at my cost of 700, so buyer paid 1k but didn't have to pay for framing. I'm just providing an angle to consider when buying/selling framed work.
