It's absurd that Ebay can receive multiple, independant reports for an item, claiming it's fraudulent or counterfeit and still allow the auction to run. Why do they have the report option if they do not plan to use it to protect their customers?

Pretty unlikely hes gonna have two variations on the parking ticket for sale I would have thought - alarm bells ringing big time .........

There is little or no information about the Banksy parking ticket. But instead we guys scanning ebay spotting the quality of one digital photo over another-from their expert view.
Your betting on good faith with ebay. If it is fake unless you've paid by paypal its impossible to get a refund. But i'f be as wary of pundits and experts here as to many have a second agenda

From my own painful experience - i can assure all of you.. paypal will not refund your money based on something being misrepresented. they will simply label it a buyer/seller dispute and back away. The only way paypal will step in is in the event your account was compromised. ie. someone used your account to buy something. Do not rely on paypal (remember that paypal is essentially ebay) to mediate or provide assistance to you if you buy something that is misrepresented. My eperience had a somewhat happy ending in that the credit card i used to pay the papal balance did have a fraud protection clause. i encourage all of you buying through ebay to check your credit card fraud protection verbiage. i was successfully able to argue fraud with the credit card company and received money back on the value of the piece but not the shipping or incidentals. i hope this all saves someone pain in the future. bottom line .. unless you directly get information from paypal saying their rules have changed... they do not provide fraud protection between seller and buyer.

You think because you are classified as a gallery it gives you carte-blanche to criticise this good-doer as someone who thinks he's a so called expert and that may have a second agenda.

It sure is a questionable way to represent yourself in a forum full of hundreds/thousands of potential clients and proven buyers, to set about insulting them without reason. I guess your business must be booming at the moment, must be nice! On the other hand, maybe you're just not very expert!
BMG did something similar recently and almost immediately withdrew the post, but you've just tried to justify it with a bullsh1t reason, which is not valid at all, as the original poster (and recipient of your insult), made it 100% clear he was unsure and this seller's legitimacey when it comes to "original" art products is absolutely dodgy as fvck as he has sold a Banksy road sign in the past a well as bootleg Futura images. It's pretty difficult to argue with anything in the original post imo! What's your expert view on that?
