But apart from that, for the most part the image looks in good shape. It's the real deal and still has a considerable value. An auction route might actually be your best bet.

What is the substrate and adhesive used? No one knows. Left as is, if it's an adhesive containing acids or other nasties, the print will slowly disintegrate with time as it seeps through. Add in the physical damage to the edges too.

I don't think they can get it 'mint'. I think value is 30-40% lower given this state and its future outlook. If you can get it to 8/10 after repair, that's a good result.

And I bought this print two years back in my hoarding quest... I wish I knew this was a huge issue. But whatever it is what it is. I have no print expertise. Appreciate the help from the members I pmโd trying to have a go at me. As people sometimes fail to realize i spent a lot of money on thiss**t. And was a valued asset of mine.
I saw a banksy print at a paper restorers a few months back that the owner had shipped to him from Australia.
It had been dinged in the corner and was glued to a board like yours. No idea on how much he charged to remove and how good a job it ended up being, but maybe worth contacting?

Just a suggestion, but they should have pics of the banksy print (it was a bomb Hugger) maybe ask for some before and afters. It looked awful to me

Unfortunately this print is only a few years old and there were I think 250 made (sorry if I have the wrong edition - but it's not that rare). IF this was from 1850 or something you might get near retail but with that type of damage its gonna be very tough in my opinion. Still good luck with the sale since you've been up front with the condition.
