Not the kind of artist I'd support.
The court systems can be slow, but I'd agree you'd expect him to be inside by now.

I do think 3 years is way too long for a case to make its way to court, especially where assault is being alleged! But maybe Australia has a back logged court system due to the pandemic? Three years wait doesnโt seem impossibly long for a trial to begin. I think it often takes this long in the US, even without a global pandemic going on.

If he's found guilty, then I still think he has an amazing and unique style, but what happens to his market is anyone's guess.
(For transparency, I only have 1 or 2 cheap prints tucked in a portfolio)

He is obviously a gifted artist but it will soon be decided if that talent would have been better gifted to someone who didn't use it to abuse others.
From his alleged victims, to his divorce and estranged kids, to his betrayed friends and collectors, nobody comes out well from self-destructive behaviour.
