Has Banksy returned to Hull?, by mikeeu85 on Aug 16, 2019 8:59:02 GMT 1, A second Banksy-style art piece has appeared overnight on a Hull bridge sparking rumours the mysterious graffiti artist has returned to the city.

Banksy’s caped boy wielding a pencil with the words ‘draw the raised bridge’ alongside it first appeared on the Scott Street Bridge in January last year, with the anonymous artist confirming he was responsible.



Council plans to carefully remove and preserve the artwork were given the go-ahead in March as the grade II Bridge undergoes remodelling.

Now, a second piece has appeared on the opposite side of the bridge near Jenning Street, showing a man wearing an overcoat and shades carrying the original artwork in his arms underneath the words ‘Bridging Loan’.

It is yet to be confirmed if Banksy is responsible.
