granted, not a great image, but i don't think there's any work in recent times that actually played a part in changing the world as we know it...
(Santa's Ghetto was cool, but it was still very much an "in" crowd event...)
Could very well be the print of year, IMHO.

As for the image, must agree with gentle. Sure it may not be his best work and i'd never have the image of a US president up on his wall but without a doubt it is SHep's most famous imageoutside of this scene and, as a result will become one of his most notorious/famous images.

Define flipping? The large version came out on 30th January. If 4 months is flipping then at least 70% of people on here are flippers.
I have the large and the small versions of this and have no plans to sell them. The irony is that if Obama is elected President and turns out to be just like the rest, which is a distinct possibility, then the Progress message will become a bit of a joke.
The funny thing is that the large print was available for several hours that morning so there was plenty opportunity for people to pick them up.

Especially if he becomes Americas first black President. This picture will probably be in text books in years to come and I can see it being as iconic as something like the Uncle Sam Your Country Needs You posters.

I think that the artist got a bit pissed off when the pasters which he was doing really cheap (5 for $15 or something wasn't it?) so people could decorate their cities started getting sold on eBay for a couple of hundred each. Now that I can understand is contrary to the message.
I'm not sure that I agree with you about the limited edition prints though but maybe that's just because I own a couple of them.
